In search of the perfect white opaque pen...

Pen

I'm searching for this pen, its the marvelous Uniball Signo Broad UM 153 - Opaque White. It seems every scrapbooker & artist wants it or has bought it already! Leaving some of us wishing for one...

One of the online retailers says about this pen: "The elusive white gel pens that artists everywhere are trying to get their hands on is finally here!  Its sleek white color makes it the unicorn of gel pens.  Ink comes out silky white, almost like white-out but smooth." (of course, they are also out of stock!).

Please e-mail me or post a comment here if you have a source or find them locally, I'll be glad to purchase them. Thanks.

Update!!

Sharpie_white

I also found the Sharpie® Paint Extra Fine / White Opaque. It looks pretty awesome! I'm going to order both the Uniball Signo and the Sharpie and give them a try.

Latest update (as of 7/6/06) Try Jet Pens for the Signo Pen, they are selling them for $2.25. Here is the link: http://www.jetpens.com/product_info.php/products_id/380

Happy Spring Everyone! - March 23

Mroeasterblessings06

I just love spring! These days I'm working on home improvement projects around the house, like painting and landscaping...I'm learning as I go. As I work in the garden it brings great memories of my childhood, I grew up in a family who loved flowers and planting. My grandparents harvested coffee, one of my aunts had a hibiscus farm and other cultivated all sorts of tropical veggies. I find it so therapeutic and inspiring. I'm a beginner with no "green thumb" yet but I'm optimistic! :)

Some of my favorite websites to learn about gardening is You Grow Girl! and Better Homes & Gardens. I'm just taking baby steps...Most of the time my steps lead me to Lowe's where I usually bring my digital camera (to snap photos of great landscaping possibilities, a tiny sketchbook and a little list of things to find out and ask...(they are always great to help me out)...I wish they offered some type of discount for frequent shoppers :)

Recently I have been inspired by some really cool fabric like:

..and have added some really Cool places to shop on my wishlist:

Just purchased this book and I can't wait to start reading it...

New Stamp Designs!

Mroretreatcard06thumb

Mroscrappgthumb06

These are the two projects I demo at The Angel Company 2006 Winter Retreat at San Antonio, TX. I used my brand new rubberstamp designs from the Spring Catalog Supplement. I also used some BasicGrey papers and 7Gypsies products. To color the images I used watercolor pencils which I recently discover and now I'm hooked!
