This weekend was my daughter's 9th bday party and instead of giving the usual "goodie bags" this year I thought of giving something a bit different.

So I took some Reeses candy bars (her fav chocolate bar) and I wrapped them with of some patterned paper I printed in the computer. Then I made a little tag with her photo (jumping in the trampouline) with a little verse saying "thank you". It was a great craft to share with my little ones and family!

After the party, she walked around the room giving the little gifts to all the guests. She looked so happy! and everyone love it!

Happy Birthday, sweet "Bibi"

I drew this sketch this morning, it really reflects how I'm feeling about my art lately.

I constantly have Ideas floating over my head...and sometimes having too many ideas popping all at once is confusing and overwhelming...(I know some of you know exactly what I mean).

Which one I start first? I want to do them ALL now! Yikes! what a great lesson for patience and seeking wisdom....

Update

After two weeks of remodeling, installing tile in our house, cleaning & organizing....I finally feel a little relaxed! The end result it's awesome and was totally worth the headache.

During this crazy week something truly cheery came in the mail...a super cute gift from my dear friend Giao. Goodness! Such perfect timing! I desperately was needing something comforting and happy. I love the cute spring socks (which I'm wearing as I write to you), the adorable sandal frame and Giao's card. How thoughtful of you to send me a birthday gift when it was truly a big surprise in a time were I have been very busy and stressed! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Happy Spring!

For the last 10 days we have been remodeling our home (tiles) so I have been unable to post or use the computer....The tiling is done and now we have a house-full of bags, boxes and dust to clean up (I'm exhausted!)...in spite of the mess, the tile looks awesome!
