Bubbles
This is my Friday Illo, which the theme is Bubbles!
When I was very little I used to spend some days at my grandma's house in the mountains. Her home was next to a river surrounded with bamboo trees....so my uncle used to make bamboo "straws" for me and my cousins (and we use grandma's Palmolive soap!!)
Here is another little illo from my sketchbook.
Have a relaxing and fun weekend!

Sweet illustrations, both of them (the second gal reminds me of my Apple Dumplin doll from the Strawberry Shortcake gang)! And I love the story about your grandmother's home and you blowing bubbles beside it!

I agree with jes... Something about your illos and the stories surrounding them just touch me. These are wonderful. The faces have such a powerful pull. Your work is just incredible.
